The kick-off and first partner organisations meeting (TPM1) within the scope of our WAY2GO Project was held on 26-29 April 2023 in Porto, Portugal, hosted by our Portuguese partner organisation RightChallenge. The meeting was attended by all partners involved in the project and important decisions were taken regarding the overall objectives, methods and workflow of the project.

The meeting started on the morning of 27 April with the meeting of the partners. At the opening, the Rightchallenge team presented the programme of the meeting and introduced all partner organisations involved in the project and their activities. This was followed by an overview of the previous projects that formed the basis of the project and how useful these projects were in terms of WAY2GO activities.

The discussions during the day focused on the communication and dissemination activities of the project. The partners reached a common agreement on the logo, design templates, management of social media accounts and posts. In addition, potential stakeholders for the project's target audience and platform were identified. Later on the first day, project management, financial and administrative issues were discussed. The partners reviewed the team members assigned for the project, file sharing channels and other important administrative arrangements. The presentation on the WAY2GO Project provided information on the project objectives, expected results and the main activities to be realised. This was followed by the WP2 presentation, where the project activities were discussed in more detail. Opinions were shared on the first drafts of the platform and the functioning of the application.

On 28 April, partners made presentations on project management and discussed issues such as quality, impact, dissemination, sustainability and risk management. In this session, each partner presented a plan for their area of responsibility and gave detailed information about their responsibilities in the project.

The meeting ended with all participants coming together to exchange ideas on next steps, developments and important dates. The WAY2GO Project is successfully moving forward with the strong co-operation and comprehensive planning of the partners. This meeting was an important step as the beginning of the project process and the partners stated that they will continue to work excitedly for the future of the project.
