Our Way2Go Project is an exciting initiative that aims to promote inclusion and accessibility in the youth field across Europe. This project is co-funded by the Austrian National Agency under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and seeks to create a Europe-wide network through a fully accessible and user-friendly online platform.
The Way2Go Platform is specifically designed for young people and civil society organisations with and without disabilities who want to collaborate on European projects and aims to make youth work fully accessible to everyone.
An important objective of the project is to build capacity in the field of inclusion by developing youth-friendly and accessible training modules. These modules will be used in trainings organised to train and empower youth workers who will become ‘Young Accessibility Ambassadors’. These ambassadors will play a key role in ensuring that inclusion is at the forefront of youth work and European projects.
The project also aims to engage the wider community and raise awareness on the importance of inclusion and accessibility in youth work through awareness campaigns. Way2Go will deliver three main outputs over 24 months: an online platform and app, a pool of skilled and trained Youth Accessibility Ambassadors and a functional network connecting project seekers with different skills with inclusive organisations. This network will support and promote Erasmus+ and ESC projects that care about inclusion and strive to be accessible, making inclusion and accessibility integral parts of the European project landscape.
